through the room. At the climax of the song, Jake turns one of his famous cartwheels. And hopefully he won’t split his pants! Now the show begins…
Your party will be the talk of the year with the explosive sound of this live stage presentation, a Blues Brothers show, plenty of audience participation and numerous surprises.
Guests will be amazed that the “Blues Brothers” have ‘crashed’ their holiday party, but they will bring musical merriment with a powerful mix of some of your favorite holiday standards (with a twist) and some of their old favorites.
The “Holiday” show will begin with a lone saxophone player playing familiar holiday songs through the crowd, and finally hitting the stage as the Blues Brothers storm in singing their own version of “Santa Claus Rock” and “Driving Through A Winter Wonderland”. Then Elwood takes center stage as he sings “Blue Christmas”. Jake proceeds to decorate a “Charlie Brown” Christmas tree with cigarette packs, toilet paper and a beer can! Then the Blues Brothers do a knock out version of “I’m a Snow Man” that will bring the house down!
The crowd will be easily caught up in the excitement, as guests are pulled up on the stage to dance with Jake. They’ll also make sure to teach the audience plenty of dance moves so they’re not the only one’s sweating.
Old favorites like “Gimme Some Lovin” “Rawhide” and “Sweet Home Chicago” will also be incorporated into this performance.
After twenty minutes, the Blues Brothers find out there is one audience member who is not too happy with their performance…the infamous Aretha Franklin. She wants the “Brothers” to show a little “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” to the blues gospel. The audience will be captivated by this impersonator’s phenomenal vocal range. Preceding this, song she invites the brothers up to the stage area to join her in “Shake your Tailfeathers”. They will start a huge tailfeather train with the guests that will wrap through the entire room, and possibly out of the building!
To conclude the Blues Brothers escort Aretha out of the venue with their outro of “Can’t Turn You Loose”. At the song’s conclusion, the company’s own “Blues Brother/Sister” (Company President) will enter from the back of the room dressed in black shades, fedora hat and black jacket! A classic photo opportunity! The lunch will conclude with the President’s remarks.
